AFTERCARE

Due to the nature of Reiki and it’s known abilities to shift stagnant energy, there are certain after-care recommendations to allow you to fully appreciate the benefits of Reiki Healing. 

  • Drink plenty of fluids for the next 48 hours to replenish your whole system
  • Please avoid alcohol and coffee if you can for the next 48 hours, as these drinks can impact your body negatively. If you find it hard to eliminate these drinks, please reduce your intake or replace these with a healthier option
  • Allow yourself time to feel any surfaced emotions
  • Have an early night with plenty of rest

The first few days after Reiki are very important as your immune system is being strengthened and your body is finding balance. Please be kind to yourself, take it slow and get lots of rest.

LOOK AFTER YOURSELF

After you have experienced a Reiki session, the impact is not always immediate. It is possible it may take a few weeks or even months to feel the benefits. 

The principal is not to get impatient. Natural healing will happen at its own pace and time. Please look after yourself as much as possible, be patient, calm and don’t worry. If any changes do not show immediately, they will sooner or later.
